Ben Lowy started his career as a conflict photographer in Iraq and Afghanistan, and now swims with sharks and sea lions, has eaten monkey brains and boiled larvae, and climbed a mountain - or three. He has received numerous awards including acknowledgments from World Press Photo, POYi, PDN, and American Photograph. He has exhibited his work from Iraq, Darfur, and Afghanistan in several gallery and museum shows, and has exhibited works at the Tate Modern, SF MOMA, Houston Center for Photography, Invalides, and Arles.
Tay Butler is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Houston, Texas. Butler works with photography, collage, video, and sound exhibitions and installations. His solo exhibitions and installations include RE.Migrant I & II at Project Row Houses, Houston and We Are Still Searching at the Louise J. Moran Fine Arts Courtyard, Houston. Group exhibitions of his work have been featured at ArtPace, San Antonio, the Contemporary Arts Museum, Houston, and the Texas Biennial at Fotofest.
Laszlo Perlaky lives in the Tahitian Village of Bastrop and is a full-time photographic artist and educator. Perlaky works in both chrome and monochrome mediums, combining large-format film photography with quad-tone printing. He has won several prestigious awards and has been published in books, magazines, and calendars. Perlaky has exhibited in numerous group and solo shows, and his works are included in both private collections and permanent exhibitions.
Mark Chen is a multimedia artist who uses photography, technology, creative writing, and performance to explore his love for science. He has traveled to locations throughout the United States to capture images of iconic landscapes to use as backdrops for his storytelling. His work has been featured by various venues including Fotofest, Houston, and Houston Center for Photography. He is represented by Foto Relevance, Houston, and Galería Photo/Graphić, San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
