Laszlo Perlaky
Laszlo Perlaky, Ph.D., was born and raised in Hungary, used to work as a research faculty member at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston during the week, and was a photographic artist on the weekends. After 30 years of dedicated service, he retired and moved to the Tahitian Village of Bastrop, where he became a full-time photographic artist and educator.

Perlaky has exhibited in numerous group and solo shows, and his works are included in both private collections and permanent exhibitions at the Texas Medical Center, Houston, and in the Founding Collection of Art, at the University of Houston, Clear Lake. Perlaky previously worked as curator at Fill Your Cup Coffee Shop Gallery, and currently serves as curator of the Lost Pines Art Center’s Art Wall at the Bastrop Public Library in Bastrop, Texas. Additionally, he is a member of several national and international photographic and art organizations, as well as an elected board member at the Lost Pines Art League in Bastrop.
