Members' Curatorial Exhibition Tour (May 10) - Pandemic Made
Date: May 10, 2025
Meeting: Saturday, 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM CST
Location: Houston Center for Photography
Led by: Anne Massoni, HCP Executive Director and Curator
Prerequisite: Curatorial Exhibition Tours are open for HCP members only. To become an HCP member please visit this link.
Pandemic Made departs from the artist’s prerogative to reconsider their practice during that time of isolation and uncertainty, to seize the paradoxical privilege of being untethered to daily commutes and business as usual, and instead compelled by a different kind of sameness and routine.
This exhibition exalts the creative’s relentless need to share their unique sensibilities, invest in their artistic practice, and respond to the calling of their muses in spite of—and in response to—the reality surrounding them.
