You have invested a lot of effort in designing your photography book and getting it published, but have you considered who your target audience is and how to reach it effectively? This online course focuses on promotional and marketing strategies before, during, and after a photobook’s publication. By the end of the course, students will have a clear understanding of how to successfully position their book in the market, collaborate with publishing professionals, and execute a strategic plan to distribute and sell your photobook.
Participants will understand how to define, build, and effectively reach their audience. We will delve into the collaboration between photographers and publishers and provide insight into the internal workflow of a publishing house. After examining real-life case studies, we will outline a practical timeline for implementing the discussed strategies.
Note: The groundwork laid in the instructor’s preliminary courses, Publishing Your (First) Photobook and Photobook Design & Publishing will be expanded upon, but it is not a prerequisite.
