This course is designed for Lightroom Classic users who wish to deepen their knowledge and get the most out of all the features offered by this powerful Adobe software. Learn how to improve your photographic archive by applying best practices for using Lightroom to manage your visual assets. Enhance your image processing capabilities by using all of the Develop module features including color management, advanced selections and masking, effects, and image corrections. Expand your digital workflow by practicing printing and creating professional web-ready content directly from Lightroom Classic. Through lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice, students will complete their knowledge of Adobe Lightroom Classic while acquiring useful advanced capabilities.

Optimize your image archive management according to your photographic practice
Learn to work in a multi-catalogue environment across computers and external HDs
Utilize all the image-processing power that Lightroom Classic offers
Color-correct your images like a pro
Define accurate masks and apply precise local adjustments creatively

Prerequisites:
Lightroom I or Photography II or experience using Adobe Lightroom Classic. Students wishing to use HCP Digital Lab computers must be Mac OS proficient. PC users are strongly encouraged to bring their personal laptops installed with the latest version of Adobe Lightroom Classic to class.
Course Prep:
Please bring with you to class a selection of your image files on a flash drive or hard disk. Students have free access to Adobe Lightroom Classic at HCP’s Digital Lab. An Adobe Lightroom Classic subscription is highly recommended to use the software at home.
