Photography for Advocacy

Visual storytelling informs viewers, starts conversations and affects change. Photography for Advocacy is a powerful tool for engaging students in social issues and empowering them to make a difference.

Through individual and collaborative projects, students can explore topics they feel passionate about and learn how to effectively communicate their message through visual storytelling. Teaching artists play a crucial role in guiding students, showing them how personal narratives can resonate universally and inspire change on local and global scales.

By encouraging experimentation and pushing boundaries, this program not only fosters creativity but also helps students challenge their perceptions of photography, ultimately equipping them with skills to be effective advocates in their communities.
