Foto Futures: Fine Art Track is a springboard for high school students who may be interested in pursuing a higher education degree in photography and/or related media.
Students from school districts across Greater Houston will meet at HCP and at partner organizations like The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston and Hardy & Nance Studios to discuss various photographic processes, view original works by master photographers, and learn about various professional paths related to fine art photography and lens-based art by interacting with curators, educators, and collections managers.
This 12-week program meets for two hours, one evening per week. Foto Futures prepares students for the rigor of higher education through coursework and deadlines that mirror those of undergraduate courses.
