This webinar will cover best practices for staying organized throughout the granting process, from research to application, award, and project completion. Participants will complete a writing exercise to practice crafting application materials while successfully communicating the goals, concepts, and structure of their projects. The webinar will include a brief Q&A section at the end of the session.
Liz Sholar (they/them) is an administrator with over a decade of experience in arts nonprofits. Sholar earned an MA in Arts Leadership at the University of Houston with an emphasis on community engagement. Their current role as the Assistant Director of Community Enrichment at Project Row Houses focuses on the development and management of the Creative Careers program, a free professional development resource for artists and creatives. Sholar previously served as the Fiscal Sponsorship Coordinator at Fresh Arts, assisting dozens of small art projects and collectives in raising over $75,000 in grants.
